“THE FUTURE OFFICE” BY IUAV/VE

How is the office world changing? How and where will we work in the future? To stimulate reflection on how the offices will be (and therefore the furniture involved) and, more in general, work environments in the future, different concepts inspired by the change already underway were discussed with the students. In fact, far the new generations, working in a shared space (co-worki ng), in a bar/ café or in a hotel lobby is completely normal. But how are these new habits and new workplaces influencing the design of office furniture and our way of conceiving spaces? The workshop has thus proposed to students to interpret the theme from unprecedented perspectives, some more realistic and tangible, others more creative, with the aim of stimulating original and innovative ideas.
